A £10 MILLION care home has opened in Sale.

The 57-bed Ashlands Manor home, operated by New Care, was officially opened by Graham Brady, the Conservative candidate for Altrincham and Sale West, and the leader of Trafford Council, Sean Anstee.

It has been designed by architects Street Design Partnership, with specialist clinical staff input ensuring all requirements of the Care Quality Commission have been achieved.

Home operator New Care says the home will provide the highest standards of safety, comfort and care.

It will offer high quality, person-centred care and an exceptional clinical offering, including residential and specialist dementia care services, in an expertly designed purpose-built environment.

The well-appointed bedrooms benefit from en suite wet rooms, while the rest of the home offers a variety of communal lounges, dining rooms and secure landscaped gardens.

It also offers a host of hotel-style services including fine dining, a hair salon, nail bar, concierge and a busy and varied programme of activities and events.

Chris McGoff, CEO at New Care, said: “We are honoured that Graham and Sean were both able to take time out of their busy schedules to officially open Ashlands Manor. It was a truly memorable way to mark the occasion.”

Mr Brady said: “I was very impressed by the quality of the facilities and by the friendly and professional staff. I wish Ashlands Manor and all its future residents every success.”

Cllr Anstee added: “Making sure we have the facilities to look after the needs of our population is a key priority for Trafford Council and I was really enthused by the quality of facilities and care that will be provided at Ashlands Manor.”

With the first residents currently settling in, Mr McGoff concluded: “We are so proud of Ashlands Manor. The home has been specifically designed, thoughtfully decorated, its facilities carefully considered and the professional team hand-picked, allowing us to showcase our progressive approach to the provision of care homes.

“We are thrilled to welcome the first residents to Ashlands Manor and wish them a wonderful and enjoyable future in the home.”
