Police check out suspect package - and find a wooden duck
POLICE in South Trafford thought they were going 'quackers' when they checked out a suspect package.
The Royal Mail offices in Altrincham passed onto them what they believed to be a suspicious package.
Officers opened the package very carefully - and found it contained a wooden duck.
A police spokesman said: "It's great that the Royal Mail are so vigilant as drugs are often found in parcels. However, in this case it wasn't worth getting our feathers in a flap and sticking our beaks in."
