POLICE have carried out an operation to arrest suspects this morning.
Several teams of officers left Altrincham Police Station this morning in an operation to target suspected criminals in the Trafford South area.
An arrest was made on Haydock Road in Sale, where one man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
A second arrest was made on Epsom Avenue in Sale, where one man was also arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Police say the arrests this morning have been made possible due to evidence gathering and also intelligence received from members of the public.
Information can be given on 101 or reported anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
A police spokesman said: "We will continue to do our best to protect our communities and local businesses, and you can help."
