THREE burglaries and one attempted burglary took place over the weekend where intruders smashed patio doors to break in.
The first incident took place in Bloomsbury Lane, Timperley, on Friday afternoon (February 10). Would-be thieves used pebbles to smash patio doors at the back of the house but fled before they got inside.
The second incident took place in Washway Road, Sale, later that day. Intruders smashed double glazed patio doors at the back of the house – again using pebbles - and stole property from inside.
On Sunday February 12, burglars smashed patio doors at a house in Highfield Avenue, Sale and later that day, a house in Worthington Road, Sale, was also targeted in the same way.
It is not clear if the incidents are linked.
Anyone who has information about these crimes or witnesses any suspicious behaviour should contact the police on 101 anonymously at Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
