Person taken to hospital after being rescued from house fire
A RESIDENT was rescued from a house fire in Timperley in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe scrambled to a house in Ridgeway Road shortly after midnight today, Tuesday January 24.
They rescued one casualty, who was taken to Wythenshawe hospital for checks.
Firefighters used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control and were at the scene for just under two hours.
