FRENCH-inspired restaurant Côte Brasserie will throw open the doors of its new £1million Hale restaurant this week.

The revamped Ashley Road haunt, which has brought 50 new jobs to the village, will welcome its first customers on Wednesday January 25.

Côte Brasserie took over the premises from The Hale Grill, which closed suddenly in September 2016 after 10 years in business.

Alex Scrimgeour, Côte Restaurants CEO, said: “We are thrilled to be starting 2017 by opening our restaurant in Hale and we look forward to bringing our friendly, professional service and authentic French inspired food to this thriving town.”

Diners can expect lunchtime and early evening offers, including two courses for £10.95 and three courses for £12.95.

In addition, the extensive French wine list features wines from a number of independent producers across France.

Food will be served until midday on weekdays and 1pm at weekends.

It will welcome guests for the first time from 8am on Wednesday.
