SALE marked the start of the advent with a blessing of the crib outside of the town hall.
Fr Wooley, parish priest of St Joseph’s RC Church, gave a blessing and the Rev Sharp, vicar of St Paul’s Parish Church, read the lesson.
St Joseph’s Primary School Choir led the singing of traditional Christmas carols, with ‘great gusto’.
