CALLING all budding black belts! On October 22, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Trafford and Kai the Red Fire Ninja, will be welcoming Olympic taekwondo stars Bianca Walkden and Aaron Cook to kick start the October half term LEGO® Ninjago event.

After Team GB’s record breaking trip to Rio this summer, Olympic fever has gripped the nation and with the Olympic and Paralympic Parade coming to Manchester, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is joining in the fun and bringing the parade to MINILAND® .

Visitors can join Bianca and Aaron at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre on October 22nd from 10am – 4.30pm for mini taekwondo training sessions for all little aspiring Ninjas! Families will also get the chance to meet and greet the athletes, see an Olympic medal from Rio and even get their photographs signed to take home.

Each mini taekwondo session will last an hour and it’s a chance to learn from the very best in the industry. Kai the Red Fire Ninja from Ninjago will also be showing off his ninja skills throughout the day.

But that’s not all, the ultimate indoor LEGO playground has been transformed into the world of Ninjago for October half term. Families can ignite their imaginations by building their own LEGO Ninjago Eye Mask, taking part in the LEGO Ninjago Laser Maze Challenge, spot the ninjas in MINILAND and use their creativity to build a Ninjago vehicle in the LEGO Racers Build and Test area.

Plus, for the whole duration of half term little Ninjas in fancy dress get in for free when accompanied by a full paying adult and will also receive a limited edition LEGO poster (while stocks last) – just ask at admissions.
