RESIDENTS are being urged to keep an eye out for dodgy doorstep dealers.
Trafford Council’s rogue traders alert service iCAN has received a number of reports of men cold-calling at houses in the borough, selling jet washers, tools and tool boxes.
An iCAN spokesperson said: “Items like this may not work, may not conform to safety standards and could be highly dangerous to use. The sellers will be impossible to trace and refunds impossible.
“Trading Standards advice is never to do business on the doorstep.”
Reports suspicious callers to the police on 101 or in an emergency dial 999.
