A CHARITY night in Bowdon to benefit renal patients at Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) has been postponed.
Sale man Mike Donovan, who has battled back from a life threatening kidney condition, wants to hold a charity night to thank the hospital that treated him.
The Northern Soul night was originally earmarked for October 7 at the Mercure Altrincham Bowdon Hotel, Bowdon.
But it has now been postponed until next year.
A month ago he joined 35 other cyclists to complete the 4 Countries Cycle Challenge, cycling 325 miles over four days from Dover to Amsterdam. Their efforts raised an impressive £70,000 for Kidneys for Life, a charity that was set up in 1976 for the benefit of renal patients at Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), where Mike was treated.
