STRETFORD Grammar School is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results.

Headteacher Michael Mullins said: "They are testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication and perseverance of staff and parents.

"This year 98 per cent of all our students achieved five or more grades at A* to C. In addition, 49 per cent of students were awarded 5 A*/A grades.

"Impressively, 12 students achieved 10 or more grades of A*/A. Congratulations to all students on their success and best of luck in the next chapter of your education."
