A BOY was robbed by a gang of youths as young as 12 in a Sale park earlier this week.

The young victim was with his friends in Walton Park, Walton Road, on Wednesday August 24, when he was approached by a gang of four teenage boys at around 3.15pm.

The teens asked the victim for a ride on his bike and when he refused, one of the youths pushed him in the chest and punched one of his friends in the face.

Snatching the bike, the youths then fled along the canal tow path towards Sale.

The youths are described as; white, 19 years of age, 5ft 11, with a goatie style beard, wearing a dark hoodie, cap, and dark tracksuit bottoms. The second is described as mixed race, aged 17, 6ft 1, slim build, wearing a North Face dark hoodie, and dark grey tracksuit bottoms.

The two younger offenders were both aged around 12, one mixed race, around 5ft 6, slim build and wearing a dark hoodie, and the other boy was described as white, 5ft 6, slim build and wearing a white tshirt.

The stolen bike is a blue/black Boardman Model C x Comp.
