THE family of a man who died in Urmston has paid tribute to him.

At around 12:30pm on Monday 22 August 2016, police were called to Atkinson Road to reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman with a head injury, at around 12:30pm on Monday.

Officers attended and found the body of a man, who has since been formally identified as 63-year-old Jia Li Huang, at a property on the street.

Paying tribute to him, his family - his two daughters aged 23 and 40 and his son, aged 43 -. said: "My father was an amazing person, he was brave and he thought he was invincible, but sadly his life was taken away.

“He would sometimes speak about how much he loved our mother and how they had plans to grow old together, he can now do that and be at peace with her.

“This was not supposed to happen, he was supposed to come home, have dinner and nap on the couch, just a normal family evening.

"We were ready to celebrate his birthday on Friday and then after that wish him to have lots of fun on his holiday to Vietnam and China to see his family.

“We never thought we would lose our father this way. It is such a horrible way to die, he never deserved this, he was a good man.

“Family was important to him, all he cared about was family being there for one another and loving each other.

“He would always worry about us, no matter how old we are, we are his children in his eyes and he would always want to take care of us and make sure we get by okay.

“He would always come out with some funny things based on what he had seen on the Internet or from other sources and no matter how much we would try to explain to him these things aren't true, he would still stick by his knowledge."
