SCIENCE lessons at Flixton Girls School (FGS) took on a 'busking' theme recently as part of the Great Science Share.
Students were asked to master an activity, explain it to classmates; as well as performing the activity to fellow students.
The aim of the event was to get as many young people as possible to share the science that they enjoy and create a real buzz during Greater Manchester’s year as the European City of Science.
Each activity was created around science, technology, engineering and maths-based challenges.
Chelsea Clowes, fromYear 8, said: “It’s been one of the most fun lessons. We’ve really enjoyed doing lots of different experiments and learning the science behind them.”
