POLICE have stepped up police presence in Hale after two teenagers were robbed by a gang of youths.
The teens were set upon by the gang on Ashley Road at around on 9pm on Saturday June 25 and stole a watch from one of the boys.
Officers identified two people suspected to be involved in the robbery and both are being dealt with.
A spokesperson for GMP Trafford South division said: “Please ensure your children know the dangers of having property on show in a public place. Opportunists are always on the look out to steal phones, cash and watches.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area, but please stress to your children of how easy they could become a victim to this type of crime, please also ensure that you know where your children are during the evenings throughout the summer months.”
