INTERNATIONALLY renowned Christian singer Dave Bilborough will be landing in Urmston this weekend.

Greenfield Church will be welcoming singer/song writer Dave Bilbrough for an evening of Praise and Worship on Saturday June 25.

The event forms part of the Primrose Avenue church’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

With a wide appeal that spans all Christian denominations and networks, Dave’s songs such as All hail the Lamb, I am a new creation, Sound the Trumpet, Holy Ground, How Wonderful and Let there be Love have been a staple part of many a church's repertoire.

His latest album, “The Song that I Sing” explores the life of faith with hymn-like and folk melodies.

As well as leading celebrations all across the UK, Dave's travels have taken him to the USA, various European and Scandinavian countries, Malaysia, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Uganda, Kenya, Australia and the Middle East.

Dave has made several appearances on national television and radio including hosting a special advent series for BBC1. For two consecutive years he was invited to be the judge for the BBC Radio's nationwide song-writing competition in the 'contemporary worship' category.
