STUDENTS from Flixton Girls' School attended iStem College, Preston, where they worked on exciting engineering challenges.
One hundred schools from across the country took part in heats with the top 20 progressing through to the national finals.
The 10-week curriculum-linked programme saw students working together in teams to solve real-world engineering, technology and computing challenges. Programmes like this open up our student’s horizons to potential new career paths and helps to put their school learning into practice.
Teams researched, designed, planned, implemented and presented their own solutions to scientific problems.
