Sale film company Serious Feather thrusts Trafford businesses under the spotlight

Serious Feather, which produced music feature documentaries 'Manchester: Beyond Oasis' and 'Liverpool: Beyond The Beatles', has expanded into the commercial media sector.

The company decided to venture down this avenue after seeing a growing demand for video promotion and counts Partington-based business owner, Reice Carmichael, and Sale-based homeware shop Pumpkin Interiors amongst its clients.

Lancashire County Cricket Club was so impressed with Serious Feather’s previous productions that it signed a contract to produce six short films to promote its Learning Foundation programme.

They’ve been surprised and excited that they can get a little bit of ‘Hollywood’ at an affordable price and can’t wait to share with their customers what we’ve produced.

“There are many differences between working in the creative and commercial sectors. The most important however is deadlines.

“Business clients wish to be represented in the best light possible in the shortest time possible so they can reach out via social media and engage their customer-base as soon as possible, and rightly so.”

Gregory and his production team are now looking forward to working with more businesses within the borough and further afield.

“Serious Feather's future is very bright,” he said. “We're now beginning to attract interest from businesses and organisations beyond Altrincham and Sale, and this is an energising development.

“Importantly, we're also starting to receive CVs and portfolios from university film and media graduates wishing to work with us and, naturally, new people with new ideas always creates momentum.”
