ANYONE who has fallen victim to recent burglaries in Trafford could be reunited with their stolen property next Thursday.
As a result of a proactive policing operation and the execution of numerous warrants, a large amount of stolen property has been recovered in South Manchester and Trafford and the goods are yet to be reclaimed by their rightful owners.
Officers from Altrincham Neighbourhood Police are inviting burglary victims to an open day on Thursday February 18 at Altrincham Police Station from 2pm-9pm.
A GMP spokesperson said: “If you’ve been a victim of crime, in particular Burglary, please feel free to come along and join us for refreshments and hopefully identify your property.
"Once checked against your crime report, we will ask you to provide a quick statement identifying the property as yours, prior to you taking it away.
"It will be fantastic for you to get your property back but not so good for the offenders that we have taken the property off."
