YOUNG gymnastics at a Timperley primary school could be on the road to Olympic success.
Pupils at Cloverlea Primary School were delighted to receive a visit from Olympic Bronze medalist Beth Tweddle.
The visit was arranged by Deputy Head, Elizabeth Rickels, who is also in charge of organizing all sports provision at the school.
Beth Tweddle delivered a motivational assembly talking about her competitive achievements and the hard work and sacrifice that went in to achieving her goals.
Beth's company, Total Gymnastics, will now be running curriculum time gymnastics and an after school gymnastics club at the school for the Spring Term.
Elizabeth said: “Pupils are looking forward to working with professional coaches, many of whom are former professional gymnasts, in order to raise standards in gymnastics across the school and to inspire pupils to get involved with gymnastics in the local community.”
