SANTA arrived in Altrincham on Saturday (November 21) - courtesy of Altrincham Rotary Club.
Children were left open mouthed when he arrived at Art with A Heart on George Street.
Chocolate gold coins were handed out, photos taken and children had a quiet word with Santa about their present lists.
Santa was then seen with his helpers en route to Randalls Jewellers for a well earned break before he joined the lantern parade which went from Altrincham market to the Stamford Quarter just outside Rackhams store, where there was the stage and celebrities for the lights switch on.
Santa can be seen again at ASDA Broadheath on December 12 ,17 and 23.
