THE George Allen Foundation is calling on Altrincham and Hale businesses to help boost a fundraising initiative..

The foundation is making some of George Allen's art work available for the public to buy to raise funds for charities and local causes.

It needs four of five businesses to display a piece of George's work on a wall, or preferably in a window - shops, offices, restaurants or any other type of premises.

The first person to offer help was Ian Hunter, proprietor of 'Hunter architects and planners', who has offered his ground floor main office window at the junction of Manchester and Navigation Road.

Profits from the sale of this picture will go to UNICEF's appeal for Syrian refugee children.

Pictures are also being displayed in Danilo's restaurant in Hale and the Counselling and Family Centre in Mayors Road ,Altrincham. Profits from the sale of these works will go to the Counselling and Family Centre.

Businesses that display the artworks can choose the charity they would like to benefit.
