SALE based disability charity Stockdales is starting the festive season by holding its’ annual Christmas fair on November 29 from noon 3pm. People are invited to the event which will take place at the charity’s main site on Harboro Rd in Sale.

The event will welcome people for an afternoon of family friendly entertainment, beginning with a performance from Wellfield Infants school choir and other special performances from Tony Berry of the Houghton Weavers and the Salvation Army brass band.

There will be pony rides from Merrylegs Ponies, face painting, Santa’s grotto, market style stalls selling gifts and plants, homemade cakes, winter wonderland disco, bottle tombola, Christmas Draw and festive food and drinks.

Natalie James, fundraising manager at Stockdales said: “We’d love to welcome people to Santa’s first stop this year – our Christmas Fair. It’s always a very popular event and people will be able to pick up lovely Christmas gifts for friends and family as well as soaking up the festivities.”

Admission is £2 for adults or 50p for children over the age of two.
