SUNRISE Senior Living of Hale Barns is inviting the public to visit its recently launched Dementia Hub this Thursday.
The Age UK Trafford Dementia Hub is to be held at Sunrise of Hale Barns every fourth Thursday of the month, starting tomorrow, October 22, from1.30 – 3.30 pm.
Lorraine Fitzpatrick, from Sunrise of Hale Barns, said: “The Sunrise of Hale Barns Team is passionate about the work that they do for people who live with Alzheimer’s and dementia and we were thrilled to be able to reach out to the local community in this way.
“It is completely free and open to all - do come and pay us a visit for a fun, engaging and entertaining activity session.”
Every month the Hub will welcome guest speakers who will discuss various topics. This month’s speaker will be a representative from the Trading Standards
The Hub will feature one-to-one advisory sessions for those living with dementia and their loved ones. Each session will include group activities, confidential financial advice and the opportunity to meet the dedicated Sunrise team who will also be on hand to answer any questions.
