THE family of a Hale man killed in a collision in Didsbury in the early hours of Wednesday morning have paid tribute to him.

Zaid Salei, 22, died after the BMW he was driving hit a central reservation and a bus stop on Kingsway, in Parrswood, shortly after midnight on October 7.

Zaid suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short time after.

In a statement released by Greater Manchester Police, Zaid’s family paid tribute to him.

The statement reads: “To our beautiful loving son and brother, you will be forever with us. Heaven now has the most precious angel. Love you always, Mummy, Daddy, Muna, Chloe and Julie.”

Police Sergeant Paul Higgins, from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are providing support to Zaid’s family at this heartbreaking time for them and are trying to establish exactly what took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
