AN Old Trafford schoolgirl is in a league of her own, striking her way to the top of the leader board of a city-wide bowling competition.

Erin McKevitt, a pupil at Seymour Park Community Primary School, brought her best bowling skills to Dog Bowl bowling alley’s summer ‘Kids Wall of Fame’ competition.

She went head to head against children all over Greater Manchester and, at the end of the six week competition, she emerged victorious scoring an impressive 141 points.

As well as being named Dog Bowl’s best child bowler, Erin also took home a trophy and can enjoy a year’s worth of free bowling.

The nine-year-old said: “I’m really over the moon. I love bowling and have told my friends about the competition at school. It’s fun but I also find it relaxing at the same time so I’m definitely going to keep it up.”
