Autumn events at Stretford's Longford Park
LONGFORD Park will be hosting two autumnal events this weekend.
The Stretford Park will be holding at an Autumn Open Day and Conker Celebration on Sunday October 11.
From 10am-12pm, a free family event by Red Rose Forest will be held which will involve collecting, identifying and planting tree seeds.
There will also be a conker competition, tree bingo and storytelling. The Autumn Open Day will take place at Longford Park Community Allotment/Rylands Kitchen Garden from 1.30-4.30pm.
Visitors can see the gardens, plant bulbs and hear a talk about bee keeping.
