The 32-piece Preston-based Band of The King's Division entertained crowds on the Orient main stage on Saturday, August 22, to help raise funds for ABF The Soldiers’ charity.

Last year, the charity spent more than £5million on individuals who needed help, and gave grants to 76 charities which delivered specialist support - touching the lives of around 70,000 people.

Caroline Aikman, marketing manager for the Trafford Centre, said: “The band was fantastic and shoppers loved listening to their broad range of songs whilst dining.

“It was great that £1,200 was raised for such a worthy charity as ABF The Soldiers’ Charity which do such extremely important work."

Throughout the day, shoppers got to see imagery on The Orient Big Screen depicting life in the British Army today.
