ALTRINCHAM Garrick's new season starts on a humourous note with Michael Frayn's clever comedy Noises Off.

The play follows a group of actors as they rehearse a second rate farce and chaos unfolds backstage, compounded by the factone of the characters has a drink problem.

Noises Off runs from September 14-19 and will be followed by the musical, Sunset Boulevard, from October 5-10.

One of our greatest ever sitcoms comes to the stage when the Garrick stages Blackadder the Third from November 23-28.

This theatre's pantos have become something of an institution in these parts and this year's offering, Snow White, will cast its spell over audiences from December 18 to January 3.

Jonathan Harvey's Beautiful Thing, billed as an urban fairytale, promises to be the highlight of the new season at the Garrick's sister theatre, the Lauriston Studio. Enjoy this brilliantly funny, uplifting love story with a difference. Beautiful Thing runs from November 30 to December 5.
