TRAFFORD'S care leavers service has been rated 'outstanding' in a National Audit Office report - the first care service in the country to receive the award.
This recognition follows Trafford’s recent children’s safeguarding service OFSTED report which judged it to be the country’s joint highest performing. Within the report, the care leavers service secured the country’s first ‘outstanding’ rating.
Welcoming the latest recognition, council leader Sean Anstee said the rating was a tribute to "the effort and focus of everyone working with our care leavers."
