A NEW B&M store will bring 60 jobs to Urmston after the chain secured new shop premises at the former Comet site on Trafford Retail Park.

The finishing touches are currently being made to the B&M Bargains store, which will open on Friday, July 31 at 9am.

Joanne Boardman, Store Manager at B&M Trafford Park said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and I am delighted we’ve found a great team from in and around Urmston.

“We’re really proud to be creating over 60 jobs this year and playing our part in the local community.”

The ribbon cutting will be undertaken by Russell Feingold, charity manager for Key 103 radio’s Cash for Kids.

The charity helps disadvantaged and disabled children across Greater Manchester by supporting them through issues such as poverty, abuse, neglect and short life expectancy.
