AN Altrincham minister is to be 'pilloried' by his congregation for the second time in a year - but it's all in a good cause.
The Rev Danny Crosby will go in the stocks at a garden party to raise funds for his chapel, historic Dunham Road Unitarian Chapel.
His congregation and visitors will be invited to throw wet sponges at him in return for donations.
He'll be in the stocks for an hour at the garden party, in the chapel grounds, on Dunham Road at the junction with Sylvan Grove.
All welcome.
Last year he also braved the stocks at a celebration garden party to mark the 200th anniversary of Unitarianism in Altrincham.
Dunham Road Unitarian Chapel was built in 1872 and designed by Thomas Worthington.
