ALTRINCHAM Rotary Club has donated two new defibrillator machines to the community.
£1,000 in donations was bolstered by a Rotary grant, enabling the organisation to donate a device to the new Booths supermarket in Hale Barns, and another to the Mercure Bowdon Hotel .
The Altrincham area now has more than thirty defibrillators installed to support the North West Ambulance Service and help them reduce the risk of people dying of a heart attack.
A Rotary spokesman said: “A big thank you goes to the generous people in the Altrincham area for their kind donations.”
