THE collective musical and choral talent at Wilmslow High School's music department presented a Summer Concert.
The evening featured a wide variety of performances from the concert band, voices, string ensemble, community choir and steel pan group, in addition to a number of excellent soloists.
Highlights of the evening included audience participation with the song Hit the Road Jack and the string ensemble's finale of YMCA. The were also final performances by Year 13 students, Asuka Okishio and Natasha James.
The concert was not the last performance of the year for a number of the performers with up to 60 students subsequently departing on a music tour to Barcelona, where they will deliver three concerts in venues across the Spanish city.
