A Summer Serenade recital will be held at St Bartholomew's Church, this Sunday (June 21), starting at 3pm.
The event is part of a series of summer recitals aimed at helping to raise money for the restoration of the church's historic organ. The recitals are held every Sunday up until July 26, which will also include afternoon tea.
To celebrate Father's Day this weekend, the renowned concert pianist, Murray McLachlan, will be joined on the stage by wife Kathryn and three of his teenage children Callum, Matthew and Rose, who are music pupil's at Chetham's School of Music
Admission to the recitals is free, but will include a collection in aid of the church organ.
