ALTRINCHAM'S Stamford Quarter has teamed up with community group G-Force and children from the area's schools to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta.
They have recreated the 25 crests of the 25 Barons who forced King John to sign the Magna Carta in 1215.
From May 22 – 31, the crests will be on display in and around the shops at Stamford Quarter.
Children will be invited to come along and help the 'Stamford Quarter baron' find his lost crests for a chance to win £25 worth of books and toys from the centre.
G-Force's Paul Huxley said: “It’s been great working with the children and share with them all about the Magna Carta. They have loved learning about our national history and the crests look fantastic.”
