STAFF, pupils, parents and governors at Bollin Primary School raised £1,700 for earthquake victims in Nepal by taking part in a sponsored silence and sponsored walk.
James Bricknell, who is in year three at BPS, came up with the idea and was supported by deputy head Lynne Mainfould and James's class teacher, Nick Liddell.
She said: “It was fantastic to see all the children out on the streets of Bowdon in aid of such a good cause. We are amazed by how generous everybody has been and will continue to hold the situation in Nepal in our thoughts.”
