THERE’S still time for Trafford residents to apply for a share of £80,000 being made available for projects that improve their community.

Trafford Locality Partnerships launched their Thrive Trafford grant scheme in April 2015 and the deadline for applications is at 5pm this Friday, May 29.

Small grants are available to groups who have an innovative idea to improve their locality.

To apply, all you need to do is complete a short application form, outlining your idea, why it is needed and what difference it will make to your local community.

Decisions about which projects are funded will be made by local people.

All eligible projects will have the chance to compete for a share of the funding in each locality this summer; at each event local people vote for the projects they would like to see happen.

For more information about the grants and public voting events, contact Thrive Trafford, who are administering the grant scheme on behalf of Trafford Locality Partnerships.
