THE Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is asking Trafford people and companies to come forward to join Team CAFT at the Manchester 10k on Sunday, May 10, as they bid to smash the £40,000 it raised at last year's event.

The charity relies on events such as this to help them to reach their £1million target each year.

Jenny O’Hare is the sports and challenges co-ordinator at the charity, said: “The 10k is a fantastic event which we feel so honoured to be part of. Our supporters never fail to impress us as they put themselves forward for this challenge year on year, helping to raise vital funds for our charity. It’s a great race which is suitable for both experienced runners and those just starting out. It would be amazing if more came forward to join our team and help us to make this a record-breaking 10k for our charity.”

The Children's Adventure Farm Trust provides holidays for disabled and disadvantaged children.
