POLICE have released CCTV footage of a ‘terrifying’ armed robbery at a shop in Flixton.
At around 8.40pm on Friday, April 3, a man walked into the Co-op on Ambleside Road and demanded money from the till.
He threatened staff with a knife before leaving with cash.
The man is described as being of slim build, 6ft tall, wore a black hooded top, black gloves, black trainers and carried a white sports bag.
Detective Sergeant Andy Darnton said: “This was a terrifying experience for the staff and they did not know whether they would be harmed in any way.
“We have obtained CCTV images from the shop and would ask anyone who may have seen this man run out of the shop to contact us.”
