POLICE have arrested and bailed two people after a man was stabbed in Altrincham.
Officers were called to Hamon Road shortly after 4.50am on Friday April 10, to a report a man had been stabbed.
Police attended and discovered a 30-year-old man had been stabbed in the back.
He was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault.
They have been bailed until May 13 while police continue enquiries.
