A SERIES of workshops are aimed at teaching people with diabetes how to eat healthily are to start in Sale.
The first takes place at Nutrifit Care Ltd, Hampshire House, Wynnstay Road, on Saturday, March 28, from noon to 2.30pm. Participants may arrive from 11.30am.
Workshops will also cover other issues affecting people living with a condition that currently affects three million people in the UK.
Class instructor said, “Scientists are showing that there’s an ever increasing understanding of the link between Type 2 diabetes and diet. Our aim is to give people the evidence-based information they need to help prevent devastating complications and reduce the need for medication. We will provide information and cooking tips so that you can prepare food that is easy to make and delicious to eat.”
