THE advertising campaign for the Manchester Midnight Walk is to take to the roads.
The event, which aims to raise cash for St Ann's Hospice, will be promoted on posters on buses run by Greater Manchester. Community Transport.
Terry Crewe, MCT's social enterprise manager, has personal and professional reasons for wanting to support the charity.
Sister Lynda Goodwin, from Bredbury, is counselling services co-ordinator at the hospice and their late father Roger was a patient there in 1996.
Terry, from Timperley, said: "I know from experience what a valuable service St Ann's Hospice provides for the community. MCT is a not-for-profit organisation also serving the community so we're delighted we can support such a deserving well-established charity."
St Ann's is the second oldest hospice in the country, providing a range of free services to around 3,000 patients with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers each year in Greater Manchester.
