THE charity spirit will take over Altrincham and Sale Specsavers in March as both stores aim to raise as much cash as possible for Comic Relief.
Staff at the two branches will encourage customers to ‘make their faces funny’ by buying a pair of furry-browed Comic Relief specs and posing for a silly selfie.
“Comic Relief has always been an important charity to us and its great that Specsavers involvement is increasing further this year,” Said Stephen Kirkham of the Specsavers Altrincham store.
“We will be hosting fundraising activities in the store in the run up to the event in store, so I’d like to invite everyone throughout the area to join us in the fun and frolics, and of course, buy their special Red Nose Day glasses."
Events will be taking place in Sale and Altrincham Specsavers in the weeks leading up to Comic Relief on March 13.
