TRAFFORD people are being invited to dig out their running shoes and raise cash for a leading charity, by taking part in this year's Great Manchester Run.
The event takes place on May 10 and the Muscle Dystrophy Campaign, which funds research into the muscle wasting disease, is looking for people to run on its behalf.
Volunteer Fundraising Manager for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, Charles Horton said “We are urging local people take part in the Great Manchester Run and help people affected by muscle wasting conditions."
Anyone interested in signing up should email northwest@muscular-dystrophy.org for a registration form.
