COMPUTER components worth up to £100,000 have been stolen from a warehouse in Trafford Park.

Three men dressed in black approached the front of the computer parts business in Long Wood Road at around 7.15pm on Saturday, December 6.

One of the men stayed in a green Volkswagen Crafter van, which was parked outside, while the other two used grinding equipment and cut a large square in the shutters.

They walked into the warehouse and removed a large amount of computer component parts, worth up to £100,000.

They loaded the goods into the van and conducted an untidy search of the warehouse. The man inside the van drove off whilst the other two ran off on foot.

Police Constable Alfred Gumbs from Stretford Police Station, said: “These three men targeted this business for its high value computer parts.

“They stole tens of thousands of pounds worth of equipment, in particular the component parts for computer monitors.

“We have released some images of the stolen parts. On their own they are unusable and it is likely they have been sold on to computer specialists. “If you have been offered parts similar to this under suspicious circumstances we would like to hear from you.

“If you have any details about the burglary or know who the offenders are, please get in touch.”

Anyone with any information about the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
