LITTLE Stretford shoppers turned toy testers to help Santa decide what should go on his sleigh ready for Christmas Eve.

Families made the most of the free event at Stretford Mall which allowed children to come and try out a host of toys and record their verdicts with a specialist team of Santa scientists.

Mall manager Colin McCrory said: “The children were having a great time testing out all the toys and helping to choose what should make Santa’s sleigh this year.

“There were some tough choices to be made but I think we had the best, young team for the job.

“We will be able to feedback directly to Santa Claus who is at his grotto in Stretford Mall at various times from now until Christmas Eve.”
