CHILDREN across Trafford have been recreating the greatest story ever told during their annual nativity performances.
Messenger photographer, Sally Greenway visited schools across the borough to capture the moment as kids shone on stage during the run up to Christmas.
Altrincham Church of England school performance, Hey Ewe, featured a curious sheep getting into the festive spirit.
At Broadheath Primary, children recreated Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem with their performance of ‘The Innkeeper’s Breakfast’.
Broomwood Primary infants each brought a shiny decoration to the Christmas tree during their play, ‘Baubles’.
At Narnia Day Nursery in Altrincham, children performed a musical Nativity before receiving a surprise visit from Father Christmas
Manager Karen Matthews said: “This is such a lovely time of year to be working with such young children. We are very privileged.”
