URMSTON Library held its own Skype workshop, as part of a ‘Get Online’ week.

The event, which was one of a number of specialist digital training sessions it offers.

Volunteers showed participants how to use Skype, the popular video calling service, which keeps friends and family connected via an on-line account.

Users were also shown how to use Skype on a number of different devices, including tablets and smartphones and were helped to set up accounts and shown how to make calls.

Volunteers encouraged users to interact with the technology during the session, ensuring that everyone was able to learn and get the most out of the experience.
