ALTRINCHAM musician Liquithority caused a stir in Manchester City Centre while filming for his new music video.
The police showed up on Market Street, where the former Altrincham Boys student, also known as Jack Richardson, was creating a promo for MTV Artists.
Jack, 18, set up his decks and performed at various locations, with officers getting a cameo in the production after investigating what all the fuss was about.
Incorporating buskers and artists that residents will be familiar with from around the city centre, Jack created the video to reflect Manchester’s position as the home of house music.
“House music is such a big craze at the moment and I feel that the majority stems from the underground clubs in Manchester - particularly 'Deep' and 'Tech House',” he said.
With a schedule to match his burgeoning success, another shoot starts again on Sunday for his song ‘Rumour’.
The 'Home Of House' video by Liquithority will be available on the MTV Artists site from October 24 and at soundcloud.com/liquithority. Watch the video below.
